The 2011 AFC and NFC Championship games are here, and fans all around Warren, and the entire country, will be eagerly awaiting to see who makes it to Superbowl XLV. The AFC and NFC games this weekend are going to be classic! Las Vegas loves this time of year as millions of dollars will be wagered on teams this weekend and on the upcoming Superbowl.
Let’s break the two games down. This far into the season you can throw out the X’s and O’s, forget about passing yards, stats, and rushing yards. The games are going to be won by the team that makes big plays, and wants it more!
The 2011 AFC Championship game features New York Jets taking on the Pittsbugh Steelers. The Steelers are a 3-point favorite Sunday at home as they take on the Jets to see who will represent the AFC in Super Bowl XLV. The Jets appear to be verbally subdued this week in the press; possibly because they realize that they are going up against a real defense this Sunday.
The Pittsburgh Steelers are tough at home and Ben Roethlisberger, or “Big Ben,” is tough to beat in the post season with a 9-2 record.
Pick – Pittsburgh Steelers -3
In the 2011 NFC Championship game, the Green Bay Packers will be taking on the Chicago Bears in a match-up that sees one of the oldest rivalries in the league go at it yet once again. This is going to be an all out war between two old rivalries, with the reward for the winner being a tip to Super Bowl XLV.
Pick – Green Bay Packers -3
