The other day, a car stalled at the intersection where I hold a sign for Mattress World. I started to direct traffic around the stalled car. But most of them just ignored me, only to find out the hard way that they trapped themselves behind a stalled car. If I was holding a stop sign in stead of a Mattress World sign people would more likely have listened to me. You see I was not given the authority that would be recognized by the motorist. Which leads me to my main point. Authority is only valid when recognized by the majority.
In Mormon theology, Joseph Smith, the founder of the church, claims that he was visited by two people who he called the Father and Son of the Holy Trinity. Smith then says that the Father pointed to the Son and told Smith “this is my Son, listen to him.” At which point Smith poised the question, “which doctrine should I follow.” Smith maintains that the Son explained to him that the Authority to teach the things of God no longer exists on earth. Later that authority is said to have been passed on too Joseph Smith and the Mormon church was born.
According to Saint Peter, “No authority is given unto thy except by God” (NAB, 1Peter, 2:13). If Mormon theology is correct, God will take that authority from those who hold it, if they are not living righteously. In 1830 the Supreme Court ruled that Income Tax was unconstitutional. 100 years later Congress threw out that ruling by adding Income Tax to our Constitution, just like a bully changing the rules to get his way.
Conspiracy Theorists are quick to claim that the events of November 11th 2001, were perpetrated by the American government. If there is any truth to this allegation: then it would also be safe to say that the instatement of the Patriot Act, which successfully voids our God given rights and our privacy that was protected by the Constitution, may have been the motive of the attack. If we connect the dots, the issue of our government’s authority must be constantly questioned. As Congress works to push through the abomination known as Obama-care.
All three of the before mentioned laws never came before the people. Need I remind you people, that never has there been a government form that has not been subordinate to the people of whom it governs. Even the most oppressive government only exists because the people are afraid to fight back. Hence the importance of established authority becomes clear.
In Part 02 of “How To Sick It To The Man”, I talked about how important it is for America to regain our independence from the infection of socialist America. But no matter how independent we are from the evils of Obamanation, if you have been unfortunately in slaved by the state, you will be among the first to get screwed in the coming years once America goes to war with herself. You know it’s coming, after all, aren’t we at war with every one else already? Few Historians, Economists or Anthropologist, believe that America can continue on this path of reckless spending with out going the way of Rome.
We know that Rome fell because of an over zealous public service policy. While I know this sounds familiar, people are still begging to sell their souls to the Obamanation. Well this research is not for you who believes our country should give every one a hand out. I am only trying to teach people to be more resourceful. For example if you recycle the cans from your beverages, the average person will save $20.00 a month. For my wife and I that $20.00 means gas for the car.
We all want to save money, but when gas prices are represented by the taxes imposed by our own government, saving money for any one on a budget becomes difficult. So my wife and I try to avoid using the gas, by using public transportation. However, both the cities of Vancouver and Portland have obscenely high prices for their Transit Systems. So we don’t end up saving any money unless we walk all over town. In other words, our dieing government has found away to bail themselves out by exploiting the fact that every one must go to work. Although going to work in this economy does not offer any relief from the cost of living, people still push on.
Unless we were born with a trust fund most of us are forced to take out student loans to pay for school. Many of us will be paying off that loan for the rest of our lives. In one case a grad-student lost his position when the economy got bad. Now he works a minimum wage job and the interest on the loan is $950.00 a month. Uncle Sam never expects him to pay off these loans, for history has proven that when a government knows it is failing, it will grow to depend on loans such as this to stay a float. As a result of not seeing an end to their loan, many Americans are looking foreword to our government being over thrown, so they would not have to pay back the loans or the unjust interest. As a new guard replaces the old, we must be prepared for war. So keep your bags packed, your passports ready, and always be ready to go.
