American Idol Season 10 auditions continued on Thursday, January 20. Here is a recap on the show. The episode was an hour long. The judges Randy Jackson, Jennifer Lopez, Steven Tyler and Ryan Seacrest are in New Orleans. 6500 auditioned in the city. The last time the show has auditioned was in Season 4.

Jordan Dorsey – 21 sings “Over the Rainbow”
He is a musician and music teacher. The three judges love him and all three say yes.
Sarah Sellers – 28 sings “Make You Feel My Love”
Steve says that she had him sold from the second he laid eyes on her. Jennifer says that she is one of the best they have heard and all three says yes.
Jovany Barreto – 23 sings a spanish song. He loves Jennifer and tries very hard to impress her.
Jennifer says that he has a very powerful voice and has the talent.
Steven says it was delicious and he likes his voice.
Randy says a giant yes. All three say yes
Jacquelyn Dupree – 24 sings “I’ll Stand By You”.
She brings photos of Randy when he was in high school. Her uncle was Randy’s football coach. The coach comes in to say hi to Randy.
Jennifer said she was awesome.
Steven said it was nice and great up and downs with her voice.
Randy said that she has a powerful voice.
Brett Loewenstern – 16 sings “Bohemian Rhapsody
Brett says that he was bullied in high school.
Steven says yes
Randy says that he was fabulous.
Jennifer says that she got goose pimples. Not just Simply Red because of the hair, but because of the soul. All three say yes.
Jaycee Badeaux – 15 sings “Sitting on the Dock of Bay”. He looks younger than 15 but says he is ready to do this.
Jennifer says that he is so sweet and so cute and his voice is really beautiful.
Steven says that he is a work of art, a thing of beauty. All three say yes.
Paris Tassin – 23 sings “Temporary Home” She tells the story of how she got pregnant at 18 years old and the baby was at risk but she went forward and has a special needs child.
Jennifer tears up while she sings and says that she felt it when she was singing and says yes as do Randy and Steven.
In the end 37 move on to Hollywood from New Orleans.
