On tonight’s episode of The Bachelor Season 15 (Feb. 21 – Week 8), Bachelor Brad Womack headed into the home stretch with Hometown Week. Four bachelorettes received a visit from Brad: Chantal O., Ashley H., Emily and Shawntel N. If you missed any of The Bachelor Week 8 (Feb. 21) hometown dates, catch up with a quick recap right here!
For dating ideas in your hometown of Tucson, think local! Head down to 4th Ave. for shopping, people-watching and a few drinks, or even a romantic dinner out. Are you a more active couple? Consider Sabino Canyon on the North Side for its challenging but unassuming hiking trails. Of course, sometimes staying in is the sexiest option…..on that note, back to the show (or a cold shower)!
The Bachelor Week 8 Recap: Hometown Dates Episode (Feb. 21)
First up, Chantal O. and her very friendly family. Bachelor 2011 Brad Womack seemed to fit right in with Chantal’s family, and in her arms. Brad admitted he could see himself married to Chantal, and Chantal got the approval from her family she seemed to need to let herself fall more in love with Brad. They seemed very natural together, but who will Brad pick on the Bachelor finale? Check out spoilers here…
Ashley H.’s hometown date was shown next on tonight’s episode of The Bachelor Season 15 (2011). Ashley’s uber-bubbly personality was mirrored by her family, who seemed to really like Brad. Brad seemed fairly comfortable at home with the fam, and Ashley was over-the-moon manic to have Bachelor Brad all to herself. This was evidenced by how she draped herself all over him like a bad rash for the entire episode. It was cute to the point of wretch, to the tenth power of puke. It was actually pretty adorable. We’re not sure Ashley will make it past next week, but we kind of like her brand of wacky.
Bachelor 2011 season 15: Hometown Recap: Who Went Home On The Bachelor Tonight?
During The Bachelor 15 tonight (Week 8 – Feb. 21), Brad Womack visited four lovely ladies, and the dates generally went well. Emily’s date included a meet-and-greet with Brad and little Ricki, Emily’s adorable five year-old daughter. Bachelor Brad had worried he woudn’t get to meet the little girl, but his thoughtful gift of a butterfly kite and a patient approach sealed their friendship. Brad, Emily and Ricki played in the park, and then went to Emily’s for a routine evening a home.
Bachelor Brad seemed very at home with the insta-fam situation, until the time came for a kiss. He fumbled big-time, grasping at words like “respect” and “your daughter is upstairs”, when what he really should have said (and basically did in his interview later) was “I’m a big idiot.” Moments later, Emily got her kiss and the odd moment dissolved.
Speaking of odd moments, and who went home on The Bachelor 2011 tonight, Shawntel N. brought Brad to her embalming room and actually put him on the table for Hometown Week. The same table hundreds of dead people have been embalmed on. She then brought him home to meet her family, which went well until Shawntel’s father realized that the Junior Mortician he’d been grooming to take over the family mortuary would be leaving town if she were to marry Brad. Though Brad got the family’s blessing, the entire date with Shawntel was strange, and the spirit was just not as warm as with the other families.
Not surprisingly, it was Shawntel who went home on The Bachelor Week 8 (Feb. 21). As usual, Season 15 Bachelor Brad Womack walked the dismissed lady out in his awkward sort of way; after she was safely inside the limo, we watched as the water works began.
Another one bites the dust…
