Being Human season 3 on BBC America started right where season 2 ended. Annie is stuck in purgatory, and the rest of the roommates fled to Wales, where they reside in a former hotel, that looks like time forgot. They are there with a real estate agent. George, Nina, and the agent check out the basement, when Mitchell hears Annie calling for him from Purgatory. He sees her on the TV and promises to help her. They all agree to move into the new place.
Meanwhile, McNair, another wolf on the scene, gets kidnapped by some vampires as a cage fighter. His son, Tom, who he was having lunch with, tried to stop them, but it was too late. The vampire in charge of the kidnapping and apparent ring leader seemed like a bad Billy Idol wannabe and acted quite crazy. The vampire put an unsuspecting human in the cage with McNair, and as it was a full moon night, that poor man died a most horrible death.
Since George gave Nina the basement to wolf out in, he decided to go into the woods, only to come across Tom, McNair’s son, who as soon as George spoke, he took off running. George gave chase until he came across a group of people who stopped him and started talking to him. Poor George didn’t understand what was going on, that is until the area was police raided and George and all the other folk got picked up for illegal activities. This was not a good thing as the full moon was coming. He has to call Nina to come bail him out, and it was a real close call. They end up having to be caged together, and George is afraid that they will both kill each other. Come to find they not only survived the night, but actually got it on while wolfy.
While all this is going on, Mitchell ends up hitching a ride with a patient who had recently died, and walks into his own Purgatory, where he meets his guide “Lia.” She takes him through doors, but not to get to Annie, so much as to show him all those he killed. We come to find out, that she is a victim from when he and Daisy went on a train rampage. She does this so he can face the truth about himself; that no matter how hard he tries, he is a killer. She finally leads him to Annie. But not before she drops this little bomb; he will be coming back to purgatory at some point, and that his killer will be a werewolf. And with two new, and possibly more, werewolves on the scene, this season should be a good one.
Annie runs down the hall, and she and Mitchell embrace. There seems to be something going on there between these two. A possible romance?
In the end, Annie finds out that while she was gone, the roommates found a new place. The Billy Idol wannabe finds out that when you leave a wolf behind, that wolf comes in to stab you in the back. McNair is free, but Tom lets him know that they are not the only wolves in town.
Being Human season 3 airs on Saturdays at 9e/8c on BBC America.
