Rosenbaum Contemporary located at Gallery Center, 608 Banyan Trail in Boca Raton presents important American artist, Bill Beckley (February 10 – March 5, 2011), and Pavo Real Gallery at Town Center unveils sculptures by Tim “The Frogman” Cotterill.
Bill Beckley has exhibited widely in America and Europe since l970. His works are in the collection of the Museum of Modern Art, The Whitney Museum, and the Guggenheim in New York; The Museum of Fine Arts in Boston; and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. Beckley is associated with various recent art movements, such as STORYART, CONCEPTUALISM and PHOTO-NARRATIVE ART.
He began exhibiting his photographs in the late sixties, and was at once internationally recognized as the originator of Photo-Text art. He first showed in New York at the legendary 112 Greene Street Gallery. Solo shows followed in Dusseldorf, Germany, Paris, Naples, and London. His works are found in important museums and private collections around the world.

Sculptor Tim “The Frogman” Cotterill will celebrate the 16th anniversary of showcasing his art at Pavo Real Gallery in the Town Center Mall by unveiling never-before-seen sculptures exclusive to the gallery at two February shows. Fans will have a chance to win one of the Frogman’s exclusive sculptures at a raffle to benefit the American Cancer Society’sR.O.C.K. Camp, Florida’s first and only residential summer camp program exclusively for children with cancer at the Boggy Creek Camp Facility in Eustis, Fla.
Cotterill will release two first-time show frogs, HiFalutin and Mariposa– rare editions only available at the Boca Raton Pavo Real Gallery– on Friday, February 11th from 5 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, February 12th from 1 to 4 p.m. Only 25 of the exclusive Mariposa sculptures will be available and only 50 sculptures of the HiFalutin will be available at the two Boca Raton shows-making it a must-attend among collectors. The Pavo Real Gallery shows will also feature some of Cotterill’s popular silver jewelry, including earrings, pendants, and the iconic “Lucky Frog Foot” jewelry.
