A few weeks ago we reported that Braco was coming to Portland. He came and went with hundreds of people an hour coming to have Braco Gaze at them.
I volunteered at the event. For $8.00/hr people came by the bus full (literally) to watch this man stand up in front of the room and ‘gaze’ at the audience. As a transformational life coach my job is never to present my opinion as the only possibility. So I went as a volunteer. I heard the rave reports and testimonials about this non-healer healer.
I’ve experienced a lot of scientific unexplained phenomenon when it comes to the healing community. Faith happens to be one of the strongest healing characteristics in allopathic and naturopathic medicines. It has been reported even by the Mayo clinic that when their patients are emotionally healthy they have a much better chance of surviving cancer.
It was quite a site watching the goings on with the staff of the production team and the volunteers. We as volunteers did not get personal access to Brazo. We were however, able to ‘gaze’ with the audience when we had our station covered.
I attended three of the ‘gazings’ and I felt a great expectation in the crowd, tears streamed down faces. People carried or even pinned loved one’s pictures to their clothing. After each ‘gazing’ the crowd was encouraged to share, and I even shared on the last ‘gazing’ as I sat there with my husband holding his hand. I have to admit I was skeptical but open to the ideas presented. But when I sat there with my husband experiencing the joy of the experience with someone I loved, it was a much more powerful experience.
I have read hundreds of blogs about the ‘scam’ and the amazing healings. I could not make up my mind about it until I actually went. My own personal experience was a beautiful light and love showered through out the room. Did it come from Braco or for the empathy and love from the audience?
The next day I went home to discover my mother was diagnosed with cancer. My three sisters and I went down to Prineville where we received the news from her OBGYN she had 6-months to a year to live. The one thing I noticed about the news was that I was not upset. I was not angry or in denial I just simply listened. We are now taking her to Portland to get a second opinion but to this day I have peace that whatever happens, it is exactly what needs to.
Braco will be back on March 23rd & 24th. You can buy your tickets at http://www.bracoamerica.com/Braco_America/Braco,_Portland.html. If she’s willing I will be taking my mom to see him.
