Tonight at the 83rd Academy Awards® Show Richard King has just won an Oscar for Best Achievement in Sound Editing for his work in the film Inception.
In Inception, acclaimed filmmaker Christopher Nolan directs an international cast in an original sci-fi action film that travels around the globe and into the intimate and infinite world of dreams.
- True Grit: Skip Lievsay and Craig Berkey
- Toy Story 3: Tom Meyers and Michael Silvers
- Tron: Legacy: Gwendolyn Yates Whittle and Addison Teague
- Unstoppable: Mark P. Stoeckinger
This is Richard King’s third Academy Award win and fourth nomination. Richard took home his other two Oscars in:
- 2009 – Best Achievement in Sound Editing for: The Dark Knight (2008).
- 2004 – Best Sound Editing for: Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World (2003).
