Numerology is one of many mystical or esoteric relationships that occur between numbers and physical objects or living things. Specifically, the Chaldean Numerology system is one of the oldest forms of numerical divination relating to astrological interpretations. Today, numerology is often associated with the paranormal, alongside astrology and similar divinatory practices.
The Chaldean numerology systems are the said to be the oldest numerology systems known. The Chaldeans were said to be an ancient civilization that were blessed by “I AM”, with the wisdom of Numerology. In Christian theology, “I AM” is the title given to God. God is said to be the great “I AM.” The implications of this assertion gives way to many assumptions that signify the types of divinatory arts that God actually allows from His people. If God allows divinatory arts, by blessing the Chaldeans with Numerology, then certain assertions in the Bible are false, but that is for another discussion.
“Chaldean numerology is different from Western numerology in that it does not assign the mystical number 9 to any letter of the alphabet, because 9 always disappear. The numerical vibrations assigned to the letters are not determined by the alphabetical order, but by the energy vibration of each individual letter. This is a very mystical and spiritual approach to numbers using them in combination with Astrology, Name Power, Music Vibrations, and Colors.” (http://www.angelfire.com/biz3/danielkudra/Numerology.html)

There are different aspects in figuring out the vibration of a person’s name and date of birth. When figuring out the Heart’s Desire, use only the vowels of the person’s name as they are known by family and friends. Next is the Personality, in which all of the letters of the person’s name are used. In figuring the Destiny number, use the person’s date of birth and add all the numbers together. The Purpose is figured by using the Heart’s Desire and the Personality. Finally, the Goal is figured by the Purpose and Destiny. It is interesting to find out how the numerical values of each aspect turn out and correspond to the meaning of the vibratory numbers. This is a valuable tool in learning about a person’s path in life. Hopefully, this will prove to be a useful tool to each individual who utilizes it.
