Getting around any NASCAR track for the first time can be an adventure, and sometimes you might just stand there saying, “I wish I had a map of this place!” One such track is Dover International Speedway in Dover, Delaware – from the Monster Bridge to the Monster Monument and everything in between, Dover has as much action off the track as there is on it. But Dover is trying to help fans with their “sensory overload” by introducing “Dover Insider Tips,” which will be posted every Thursday on the track’s website, www.doverspeedway.com.
Born out of requests at fan council meetings in 2010, “Dover Insider Tips” will let fans know about new things going on at the track and about old things that may be confusing. The first tip, posted January 5th, let fans know about new seating for the upcoming NASCAR Nationwide races, May 14th and October 1st, 2011. The track is opening 13 additional sections for General Admission seating for the races.
Check out “Dover Insider Tips” at the speedway’s website, listed above. You can also go there to purchase tickets for both NASCAR weekends, May 12th through 15th and September 29th through October 2nd.
