After leaving his school at Rockbridge Elementary on Friday on January 21, 2011, he arrived at the sitter’s home. He changed his clothes and went out to play and has since been missing.
Rockbridge Elementary School is located in DeKalb County which is a suburb of Atlanta, Georgia.
There is an all out search for Kelvin Duarto who lives at Thomas Jefferson Court which is near Stone Mountain.
Walter Woods, a school spokesman, said that the eight year old normally walks home from school. After arriving at the sitter’s house, he went out to play around 3 PM
He never came back.
This third grade child was last seen within 100 feet of his home.
HE WAS WEARING A GREEN SHIRT, TAN SHORTS, AND BLACK ATHLETIC SHOES.
Anyone with any information is asked to call 678-676-1810.
Many times these children are found before the news media can get the story out; and let us all pray that this is the case with Kelvin. The questions remain why a Levi Alert has not been issued regarding his disappearance. Hopefully, the authorities have information that the child is not in danger. Perhaps a parental abduction or some other reason.
At the present time, there is no description of this child and no photo available. Hopefully, that is a good sign.
