For those in the Orlando area and around Central Florida looking for jobs, you can still make arrangements and plan on attending the Mayor’s Job Fair sponsored by the Central Florida Employment Council.
The Central Florida Employment Council (CFEC) recently published a list of employers and exhibitors at their upcoming Mayor’s Job Fair. It will take place on January 26th from Noon until 4:00 p.m. The event will be held at the Central Florida Fair Exhibition Park which is located at 4603 West Colonial Drive in Orlando. The fairground sits between Kirkman Road and John Young Parkway on Colonial, which is also known as State Road 50.
The published list of exhibitors for the day of the event includes:
Military career recruiters from the Florida National Guard as well as the U.S. Army.
A host of local colleges and schools that offer both employment and educational opportunities for the unemployed. Some of the many colleges and schools participating are: City College, Concorde Career Institute, Fortis College, Palm Beach Atlantic University and Southern Technical College.
Government and community agencies such as Goodwill Industries, United Way, Orange County government, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development as well as Workforce Central Florida will also be on hand.
Among the many corporations and employers listed to have job openings and are ready to meet with prospective employees are: 21st Century Insurance, 7 Eleven, AFLAC, Allied Barton Security Services, ARAMARK, Hilton, La-Z Boy, Marriott, MetLife, New York Life, Orkin Pest Control, Steak n’ Shake, SunTrust Bank, Universal Orlando, Walt Disney Parks & Resorts, Wet ‘n Wild, Wyndham and a host of others.
