The Empress of China III is a small restaurant nestled in a shopping center in North Irving. The staff are family friendly and very helpful with any questions regarding the menu. When entering the restaurant, the first notable point is the beautiful shine coming from the floor and the tables. It is a very romantic setting with low teardrop light fixtures and a snug dining area. This is the perfect place to escape distraction and have a meaningful conversation.

The menu is filled with delicious Mandarin, Hunan and Szechuan cuisine. There are 19 appetizers to choose from which range from $1.25 to about $5.95 per portion. Choices include Shrimp Toast, Shao Mai, Edamame and Crab Ragoons, but if the decision proves too difficult, the Assorted Appetizer Tray is sure to delight. The traditional Egg Drop and Wonton soups are offered, however on those adventurous days, Snow White Seafood Soup just might quench that thirst for something new.
Finding a filling meal is easy when glancing down the Empress Grill and Specialties sections. The Grilled Shrimp Kabobs, Teriyaki Chicken Kabobs, and Orange Chicken are dishes that will fill up even the hungriest diner and run from $10.95 to $12.95 each dish.
