What happens when Jersey Shore‘s Snooki collides with…SNL‘s Snooki? A fairly amusing sketch starring the now-published author and SNL‘s Bobby Moynihan, that’s what. You can see it for yourselves below, my gentle Examiner readers, but here’s a head’s up: Do not look directly into Snooki’s “pouf”– it’s been known to blind children and the elderly. Carry on, folks…
We hate to admit it, but we’re actually big fans of MTV’s Jersey Shore here at Comedy Examiner HQ. Yes, the show has virtually nothing of any real value going for it, and yes, it’s probably contributing to the downfall of America at large, and yes, everyone involved deserves to be locked in a steel drum and ditched at the bottom of the ocean…but, damnit, once you start watching, it’s hard to look away (like looking at J-WOWW’s nude photos). So, yeah, we watch Jersey Shore, but in the least-supportive way possible.
Speaking of shows we watch but find it hard to be supportive of: Saturday Night Live. SNL‘s in the middle of a very lukewarm season (OK, stretch of seasons), but one of the few highlights has been the Snooki impression that Bobby Moynihan’s perfected over the past year or so. Snooki and Moynihan have something in common besides looks, oddly enough: both are name-brands on the show they appear on, and both are probably the most annoying on their respective series. Weird, huh?
Anyhow, Snooki and Bobby Moynihan’s Snooki recently collided in the video on the left, which comes to us courtesy of MTV. If you’ve ever wondered if Snooki has a good sense of humor about herself, this video will answer the question. And, if you’ve ever wondered if you’d be able to tell Snooki and Bobby Moynihan’s Snooki apart if they were standing next to one another, this video will (hopefully) answer that question, too.
