We are in the final countdown for the “Glee” Super Bowl episode. Set to air on February 6, the highly anticipated show will be even longer than normal. With limited commercial interruption, fans will be treated to an extra 20 minutes of their favorite Fox comedy. And this show is going to be over the top. In addition to fire breathers, huge guest stars and some serious romance drama, viewers will be treated to some amazing musical performances.
On Friday, previews of the songs were released for a “sneak listen.” Click play to the left to hear all of the songs, except “California Gurls,” from the “Thriller” episode of “Glee.”
Here is the full list of song titles along with the performers:
“Need You Now” by Lady Antebellum (Puck and Rachel)
“California Gurls” by Katy Perry (Brittany, Santana, Quinn and the Cheerios)
“Thriller” and ” Heads” will Roll by Michael Jackson/ Yeah Yeah Yeah’s (New Directions)
“She’s Not There” by The Zombies (Cast)
“Bills, Bills, Bills” by Destiny’s Child (Blaine, Kurt and the Dalton Academy Warblers)
One big change you will notice from this list is the absence of the Black Eyed Peas song, “Meet Me Halfway.” Originally, Charice and Vocal Adrenaline were to perform this hit song, but it has now been pushed to later in the season.
What do you think about the previews? Are you even more excited for this huge episode?
