It’s time to get started sampling the signature starters that include the Mediterranea Salad and Burrata. The Mediterranea is mixed with Mesclun, gorgonzola cheese, olives and tomatoes while the Burrata combines crusty bread with fresh homemade mozzarella.
Press on for a Schiacciata Golosi Panini. The Prosciutto, Taleggio, arugula and tomatoes proves to be a winning combination. Crespelle di ricotta is the house’s favorite hot dish. The flaky crepes are filled with ricotta and spinach.
For the ‘Pizza’ de resistance choose from the thirteen pizza combinations. Four of the favorites include The Parma, Formaggi, 4 Stagioni and Vegetale. The Parma’s ingredients include tomatoes, mozzarella, prosciutto and arugula. Formaggi features mozzarella, Gorgon, Fontina and Parmigiano. The 4 Stagioni is five star with mushrooms, artichokes, olives and ham. Last but certainly not least, the Vegetale variety has mozzarella, tomatoes and vegetables.
Make sure to save room for the delectable desserts and Golosi’s very own Gelato Station whose creamy concoctions are made fresh daily. Before deciding on what flavor to choose have a Berry Sangria to sip while mulling over the choices.
The creative cocktail helps to make the move from main course to dessert and this fruity drink is filled with generous pieces of fresh blueberries, strawberries and red grapes. It’s ‘Berry’ good!
Now the palate is readied for the delicious dessert course. The only problem will be deciding on what to choose. Crepes con Nutella combines crepes with Italian hazelnut chocolate cream. The creamy crepes contain warm chocolate filling that’s a chocolate lover’s decadent dream.
