Yes, that is a gun in Howard Stern‘s pocket, and no–he’s not necessarily all that happy to see you.
The NY Times featured an article about celebrity gun owners this weekend, and it turns out the King of All Media isn’t the only radio host in town carrying personal protection.

Stern has made no secret about the fact that he owns a gun for personal protection against the many “wackos” who love and hate him. That’s the reason he’s allowed to have a gun in the first place. To score a concealed weapons license, a city resident must have “demonstrated a specific need to carry a holstered handgun on their persons….who have received threats or who regularly handle large amounts of cash.”
Other celebrities on the list included Robert “You Talkin’ to Me DeNiro,” Howard Stern Show pal Donald Trump, Howard Stern Show pariah Don Imus and FOX News President Roger Ailes.
