Apparently the Palestinian Authority has taken a page from Nazi propagandist Joseph Goebbels who is famous for saying,
“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie.”
He also wrote,
“The most brilliant propagandist technique will yield no success unless one fundamental principle is borne in mind constantly – it must confine itself to a few points and repeat them over and over”
The Palestinian Authority is trying to erase Jewish history and delegitimize long-accepted historical data surrounding Jerusalem and other parts of Israel, reports American Interest Online. They are doing this by using Goebbels strategy–telling big lies over and over again.
For example, the “Palestinian Authority recently complained to the Chinese organizers of the Shanghai Expo about Israeli exhibitions that speak, among other things, of the history of Jerusalem.”
UNESCO acceded to Palestinian and Arab demands to recognize the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hebron and the Tomb of Rachel as “Palestinian” sites.”
About the Wailing Wall, an official Palestinian Authority study report declared,
“The Western Wall belongs to Muslims and is an integral part of Al-Aksa Mosque and Haram al-Sharif (the Islamic term for the Temple Mount complex, meaning the Noble Sanctuary). The paper, which has been presented as a “study,” was, to “refute” Jews’ claims to the Western Wall.
Thank heavens what we know to be true is not dependent on what they say. The proliferation of modern communication media and the internet ultimately defeats any and all Palestinian Authority attempts to propagandize lies.
