Rockstar Games was planning on releasing a “Serial Killer” trailer that also reveals the release date of L.A. Noire on Monday. Unfortunately, the trailer was leaked early which also revealed the release date for the 1940s Hollywood detective game on the PS3 and Xbox 360.
L.A. Noire will hit store shelves on May 17 courtesy of Rockstar Games and Australian developer Team Bondi.
The trailer shows Los Angelese Detective Cole Phelps on the case of a vicious and disturbed serial killer who is hunting down women around the city. The whole clip plays out just like you would expect a pulpy crime drama to and the acting and character animations look fantastic.
Update: L.A. Noire publisher Take 2 has vigorously been going around to different website removing the trailer. We’ll see what we can do about getting a copy to stay up or just wait until Monday when it is officially released. Until then you can check out the first trailer for the game.
