Living in state of gratitude is how our life was intended to be enjoyed. Joy is the embodiment and expression of Source through our lives. Gratitude leads us to the perfection of Love and the synergy toward relationships, circumstances, and opportunities to expand our Soul in this lifetime. When we close our lives off, by believing we are inadequate; we are shutting down our resource that gives us the answers we seek and the life we were meant to live. Yet, many of us are living a hard life and being challenged to just survive.
How do we step out of the battleground, where we dodge bullets and constantly look for protection, and enter into the livelihood of peaceful living?
Beliefs shape our reality. The thoughts we think form geometric patterns that are then energetically empowered. These invisible structures then look for like kind thoughts to stay energized. The recharging occurs by the intensity of the thoughts and beliefs that are created and continually rehearsed by ourselves and our environment. When we realize we are the designers of our reality and we have choices, this leads us to create a personal Heaven on Earth – by reshaping our mind. There is a dynamic power and direction governing our lives from what we have been told is true. We start life with a bare essence of what was, “is”, in the afterlife. Not too long though, in this body, does the spirit find out that it is different here; things feel like a struggle; people tell us we can’t get what we want. The beliefs start to manifest into our new associated reality and our power is taken away. We become helpless as we decide that we are not in control. We take commands and follow them, as we do not know any better. We begin to look at ourselves, even without language, as not perfect. The Ego is born; the illusionary struggle begins.
Before we create dialogue, the kind that incessantly plays in our head; we must choose to remember we are what we think. Our life is a path of constant self discovery and recognition of who we are and where we came from. There is a cycle of events to being born in linear time. First, we arrive with a knowing of who we are and where we came from; then we are told through actions and examples we are not that being – taking on a mistaken identity – feeling uncomfortable we are edged into the next cycle which is exploration of who we want to be. Once we come to a place of feeling like we know what we want to do and be, we move to the final cycle of life which asks us to come into the awareness of the oneness with all life; the lack of separation from body, spirit, and soul and most importantly, Source.
Childhood brings us the newest of experiences and choices. We are guided by the forces of reasoning and direction from our parents. We are like sponges and take everything our parents say as the gospel. They feed us their stories and memories; we aren’t yet trying to find our own. Their struggle becomes our personal story and for generations we continue to share with others our family dogma. We live through their eyes of the world and they shade us when it looks like it might be too rough. When we tell children, “We want to save them from the realities of the world!” how do we not know that their thoughts could then shape ours to seeing a better life? It is when we grow-up we realize that these stories do not have to be our own, some us will stand up and say: “We are not going to be like our parents!” Watch us, we are going to lead a different life then they led”. Packing our stuff to the brim in our car we venture to our freedom. We are off…
At this time in our life, we are confronted with real responsibilities and consequences. What we think we deserve comes forth in waves to show us we are confirmed in our beliefs. So, when we feel the lack of love, we receive the lack of affection, companionship, and relationships. We wander through time wondering if we will find anyone to love. When we feel we don’t deserve the big job or promotion, we do not receive it or find it available to attain. We could also be going to school to get the education we feel we need to complete the designed dream we created about what we want to do. Our beliefs either get us through school or having us dropping out to include this as just another lesson in failing. This is a real time of trial and error type of living as we are beginning to structure new beliefs about our self and our intentions. The importance of this time is to re-shape our thoughts on an individual basis and explore what we truly want. Society will tell us that it is a great job and marriage partner; but, that is societies programming that we fall into so easily. For reason of conforming this is why people end up shifting careers after being in them for many years because they are not happy. They decided to do something they thought they had to do. Choosing joy is usually not the first characteristic one looks at when selecting a job, as what does fun have to do with work? Joy has everything to do with success and happiness; this is the KEY to our fulfilling our life purpose with grace and ease.
Stop the struggle and the negative talk that is keeping you from living your life with exuberance. We must create what we mean, need, and desire in the Now as this is where it is all happening. We can’t allow the past to keep hold of our steering wheel and direct us to our choices out of fear and insecurity. We must push forward with a new self, a stronger self confidence to push through the challenges and allow our lives to receive the goodness and joy today. As we reshape our beliefs, re-organize our thoughts that only have concern about the present moment, we will see results that will surpass our biggest dreams. When we create a more loving foundation for ourselves, we can then endure and move through the challenges, which will still exist, with a stronger determination of success and a sense of gratitude instead of fear. This transformation will undoubtedly put our life back on track. Try the exercise below and really take a look at how we are presenting ourselves to the world and what language we are using to express our personal definition. Do not judge the content, just rewrite, revise, and rewrite. We are the author to our lives, make it an exciting story.
Exercise to Truth:
As humans, we all have great stories to tell as these are our passages of beliefs about ourselves. This is our life manual and we take instructions from our thoughts and what we think we are. Taking time to review our personal story is an important task that we should not take lightly. Are we talking like robots without emotion and thinking well here you go this is what I do; or, are we giving a dissertation of the past events which lead to what you are going to do in the future? What about the now? Who are you today? Most likely, we don’t know how to answer this question, as our mind is controlling us to get to point B and focused on an idea of success that has to happen in the future. Take time right now to write out what you would say if you met someone at a party, a business meeting, or at a coffee shop. Would these scripts be different or would you use one for all of them? Explore the meaning and content of your words and do not discriminate your immediate thoughts as to what you say right now. Remember you will be rewriting and revising after completing the first step of this exercise. Enjoy this process as it will give you new meaning and definition to your life.
Join me next time as I will cover the fourth stage of the life process which is the opening of the mind to the oneness of all life. Until then, connect deeply to your thoughts and examine your life in the now.
