Megan Fox’s personal training goals aren’t about weight loss. While Fox’s weight is often the topic of debate for skinny-or-not spectators, celebrity personal trainer Harley Pasternak recently confirmed Megan’s fitness goals are more about gaining muscle than losing weight.

“Do I worry about Megan getting too skinny?” Pasternak said. “Yeah!”
But Pasternak has a solution. As the celebrity personal trainer to A-list clients like to Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga, Jessica SImpson and Jennifer Hudson (yes, she recruited a PT in addition to WeightWatchers), Harley knows how to keep a body healthy. In the rare case of Megan Fox, that includes weight training to build strong muscle fibers which the public calls “curves.”

“The key to Megan’s abs is, first of all, genetics,” he says. “The second is that we train her abs on all three planes. It’s not just about crunch, crunch, crunch,” he explains.

Pasternak, also the creator of The 5-Factor Diet, says he works Megan’s body “up and down” and “side to side,” training her “corset muscle” to ensure her abs are strong, not just skinny.

Funny he should mention corsets. Prior to signing Harley on as her personal trainer, Megan attracted piles of critics who were quick to scorn her. Skinny sergeants opposed to Megan Fox’s tiny frame crticized her record-breaking 22-inch waist, odd vinegar diet and habit of wearing a corset during filming.
MEGAN’S WEIGHT CHALLENGE: VERY HIGH METABOLISM
With a personal trainer on board, Megan’s now got a professional defending her size. Harley told Hollywood Life that Megan isn’t suffering from an eating disorder and slammed claims she was fasting to lose weight. Her biggest challenge, says Harley, is that she has an unusually high metabolism. She’s also 24.

“Believe it or not she has this really fast metabolism,” Pasternak says. “So her training is all about body toning and sculpting. She gets frustrated at times because she’s like ‘I need to put on weight,’ so she actually weight-trains to keep on that lean muscle tissue.”
