As the episode opens, Haruka and Atori are sitting in her room, simply staring at random things. Suddenly, Atori notices one of the silver dragons that had appeared earlier. When he brings it to Haruka’s attention, it disappears.
We cut to La’cryma, where Kosagi vents off her frustrations about needing to capture the Dragon Torque. Kuina attempts to calm her down to little avail. She’s determined to find the Dragon Torque so that they can save La’cryma. Kuina tells her that none of that matters and quickly professes his love for her, saying that he thinks them being together is more important than the fate of their world.
Back in the present, we see Yu studying. His mother comes in to bring him a snack and asks if he needs a break. He hesitates, but she convinces him, telling him that the storage room needs to be cleaned and that she can’t lift all of the heavy things herself. He agrees and they begin to rummage.
While going through their old boxes, Yu finds a video camera. His mother explains that his father bought it when he was born and that it was rather pricey.
Haruka, Miho, Ai, and Isami all hang out and discuss the wedding of Ai’s parents. Everyone is excited at the prospect and we learn that they didn’t get married for financial reasons, but now have the resources to make it a wedding to remember. Yu shows up with his camera and Ai recruits him to film the wedding for them as they are lacking a cameraman to record the ceremony. Haruka sees another silver dragon, but it quickly disappears.
Both Koriyama and Uchida, as well as Karasu and Tobi discuss the fate of the world as they realize that it is unraveling.
In La’cryma, Kosagi goes to visit Amamiku to berate her for letting the Dragon Torque escape. Amamiku stands by her decision, saying that she recognized the girl as Haruka and that Haruka recognized her. Kosagi gets flustered and leaves. Sheh goes back to see Kuina and ask to go back and settle the matter with Karasu once and for all,but he refuses her request.
In the present, Ai is riding a trolley and notes that one of the girls is kicking an old woman’s shins while she’s in her seat. Ai confronts them and demands that they stop. The girl refuses, asking if Ai is in middle school. Ai corrects them, saying she’s in elementary school. This is rightfully met with snickers from the girls, because let’s face it, that was a weak come back. Ai doesn’t let up, however and the girls take Ai off the trolley to a back alley.
Isami sees them get off the trolley and follows. Just as the girls are about to accost Ai, Isami jumps into the situation. He plays dumb and tries to hit on the older girls, which is met with laughter. They lose interest and walk off. It turns out Isami had some idea of what was going on as he chides Ai for picking a fight with older girls. Ai falls to her knees and starts to cry. She tells Isami that she refuses to cry in front of people like that, but she was still scared of what was going to happen. He comforts her and the two share a nice moment together.
Tobi and Karasu detect a significant temporal anomaly and realize that it’s La’cryma. Karasu rushes back to Haruka, and arrives just in time as she is soon attacked by Kosagi. He jumps in to save the day and the two engage in battle, freezing time and clashing with each other all across the city.
Karasu eventually stops fighting and tells Kosagi that it’s pointless for them to engage in battle. Kosagi refuses to listen and pursues Karasu, firing several blasts at him. They all miss, and Karasu tells her that she can’t kill him. Kosagi still isn’t fazed, but Tobi steps in and says that the Dragon Torque has a different purpose and shouldn’t be used the way Kosagi intends to.
Kosagi makes one last ditch effort to recruit Karasu back into the Dragon Knights, but he stands by Haruka. Resigned, Kosagi removes her pipeline. Karasu tries to stop her, but he’s not fast enough. Kosagi, just like Karasu himself, is cut off fro La’cryma. Kosagi tells him that she wants to be there when he dies.
The episode ends as we see Haruka worrying about Karasu. Yu shows up and asks her what’s wrong, but her mood changes and she says that she’s merely waiting for him.
