Two seperate and seemingly unrelated moves by Obama in recent days have raised a few eyebrows both inside and outside of the DC Beltway.
Eyebrows Raised, Part I…
Tucson vs. Fort Hood
First, the well publicized White House moment of silence that Obama correctly ordered for the victims of the Tucson shooting that killed or wounded slightly less than 20 people took place. It was the decent and humane thing to do.
But all the while, Obama’s shills are doing their level best to fan the flames of hate and blame on conservatives such as Sarah Palin and just about everyone at Fox News as the ones who are ulitmately responsible for the shootings.
Interestingly enough, when the Fort Hood Shootings took place, perpetrated by an individual named Nidal Malik Hasan, where he killled or wounded over 40 people (to include an unborn child), Barack Hussein Obama failed to order a White House moment of silence for the victims of Nidal Malik Hasan. Hmmm…
Oh, and the terrorist also screamed ‘allahu akbar!’ as he gun downed unarmed people. Nothing unusual or out of the ordinary in that, is there? Everyone screams allahu akbar all the time in America, right? <sarcasm off>
And let’s not forget that every Democrat from Obama on down pleaded with the American people, ad nauseum, “not to jump to conclusions!” And in the name of fairness, “don’t point fingers until all the facts are in!”
Obama was even directly quoted as saying: “We don’t know all the answers yet, and I would caution against jumping to conclusions until we have all the facts.”
So why isn’t Obama pulling in the reins on his politically allied hate mongers the likes of Sen. Dick Durbin and MSNBC drama queen Keith Olbermann when it comes to the Tucson shootings?
I think that I’m bright enough to recognize Obama’s strange set of priorities in this situation.
Here’s what we have so far;
~ Two different terrorist shooting sprees.
~ Two different shooters.
~ The focus of the Tucson shooting is to grieve all the victims, bury and pray for the dead, heal the injured. Oh, and blame conservatives.
~ The focus of the Ft. Hood shooting was to protect the good name of the ‘allahu akbar’ screaming Nidal Malik Hasan. Oh, and monitor those nasty Tea Party people and those Fox Newsies to ensure they don’t besmirch Nidal Malik Hasan any further than they already have.
Heck… so what if he has “Soldier of Allah” printed on his business cards? Who doesn’t? It’s not as if it’s a clue or anything. <sarcasm off, again>
Eyebrows Raised, Part II…
Reuters is reporting that Secretary of Defense Robert Gates is currently visiting Communist China on what is being described as a “bridge-building visit”. How nice.
According to Reuters;
“Gates and his Chinese counterpart [Liang Guanglie] agreed on Monday that stronger military ties were needed to avoid missteps between the two global giants.”
OK, I have a really silly question: why should the Armed Forces of the United States of America be “tied” in any way, shape or form to the People’s Liberation Army of Communist China?
NOTE: China has over 7 million troops in uniform (Active, Reservists, Para-Military) as well as 668 million Chinese (both men and women) available for a military draft.
The United States has 2.5 million troops in uniform (Active, Reservists, Para-Military) as well as 120 million Americans (both men and women aged 18-44 available for the draft).
Keep in mind that the 120 million total is wildly optimistic, in light that the Department of Defense has already released information showing that 75% of Americans between the ages of 17-24 are UNFIT for military service (Three main reasons: too fat, too stupid, too criminal).
A realistic number of Americans who could be called up in time of a grave national emergency would be somewhere closer to 15-20 million.
A realistic number if we ever went to war with Communist China would be 675 million of them against 22.5 million of us.
I sure hope we have plenty of nukes.
Oh… and don’t have the Chi-Coms tied TOO closely to our military.
