During an in-depth interview that extended beyond the hour, Phil Jackson talked to Bill Macdonald and the guests about how he became a coach, his life after the Lakers, the ongoing strategies to win another NBA championship. “I had the opportunity to use my degree in Psychology to deal with people, to talk with the team about the psychology of winning”. He explained the importance of the interactions with fans and how he “generated the feeling of winning”: “Wining is part of who you are, part of your intentions. Winning is so important to me, so I did the same as a coach… Basketball fulfilled the completive edge that I had”
