Piers Morgan has wrapped up a more-than-successful first week on “Piers Morgan Tonight,” and it looks like he has quite a lineup in store the second time around, as well. To kick things off, former New York City mayor (and Presidential candidate) Rudolph “Rudy” Giuliani is going to appear Monday, and he says that he could very well run for office in 2012.
So under what condition would he choose to run? He claims (at least according to Piers’ Twitter) that he would consider a campaign particularly if Sarah Palin decides to throw her name into the ring:
“The more Republicans in which I can show a contrast, probably the better chance, the better chance that I have … My one chance, if I have a chance, is that I’m considered a moderate.”
While Palin would likely get her share of support among the more radical of Republicans, Giuliani may be a favorable alternative to those who want to stand against the former Alaska Governor (and TLC reality star) — on the other hand, his campaign in 2008 ultimately did not have much of an impact.
