Last night on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” we watched Camille Grammer deal with her marriage falling apart while filming a reality show. We also watched Kyle Richards’ daughter Farrah graduate from college and get gifts. Then we heard Lisa lay it on the line to Cedric and Taylor Armstrong.
The episode begins with Kyle and Lisa meeting at Villa Blanca for a glass of wine, some dinner and a chance to catch up. When Taylor pops in unexpectedly, announced via text to Kyle, Lisa doesn’t like it. She’s a little jealous of Taylor pushing her way into Kyle’s life.
Lisa tells Kyle that she feels Taylor stirred the pot when it came to Camille vs Kyle in NYC. She says she’s a straight shooter and doesn’t put up with BS and feels that something must have happened between the time Kyle and Camille spoke in the room and when they met again less than half an hour later. Lisa feels Taylor was responsible for that whole NYC “fiasco” and it still bothers her. Kyle agrees, but dismisses it saying that no matter what Taylor said Camille shouldn’t have behaved that way.
Taylor shows up. Trying to be comforting, Lisa tells her she’s aware that she’s going through something, she doesn’t know what, but she wants Taylor to know that she’s there for her also. Taylor sort of laughs off the seriousness of Lisa’s words, which annoys her more “cut the crap, be honest” and tells her to stop laughing and joking — it’s masking how she’s feeling! She wants Taylor to take things seriously. Lisa also commented that she’s been privy to Taylor being upset before and so the fact that her marriage is having problems was no surprise to her. (?)
Before Lisa leaves to meet Ken, they all toast to girlfriends being there for each other and Lisa toasts to “being honest.” Lisa leaves Taylor and Kyle at the table to carry on.
In Taylor’s Bravo Blog this week she wrote:
As far as friendships go, I have lots of them. I introduce my different groups of friends to one another in hopes that they will then become close as well. I have introduced friends of mine to one another that have ultimately become best friends, and it brings me nothing but JOY. I am not jealous of my friend’s friendships and believe that we could all use as many friends as possible in this life. Enough said. Read more Bravo Blogs
Also in this episode Paul and Adrienne go shopping and bicker, but that’s what married people do and that’s why they get a tax break, says Adrienne.
Lisa, Ken, and Cedric drive to Santa Barbara to tour Summerland Winery and find a new wine for Villa Blanca.
Later Cedric brings Lisa some tea and they talk. Lisa says it’s time for Cedric to move past what happened to him in his childhood. He questions why his mother left him and if she ever really loved him. He wonders how he can like himself when he’s had such a horrible past. Lisa tells him she’ll always be there for him and says later that it’s time for him to find his two French feet and stand on them!
Kim pleases her Disney fans by doing a phone interview with Disney Radio. Her kids are getting older, time to step back out a little.
Kyle is so proud to watch her oldest daughter Farrah graduate from college. Later we watch her receive gifts: a beautiful ring from her parents and a very generous gift from The Hiltons.
Camille watches her daughter, Mason, at a dance lesson and it’s all very, VERY sad.
Finally, we learn of the horrible phone call from Kelsey to Camille. Camille says she’s devastated as she tells the Bravo camera that a few days before the Tony Awards, Kelsey called her in the middle of the night and said he was “done with the marriage.” She says she begged him not to leave her, not to leave their family…. it was devastating to her.
She didn’t want to go to the Tony’s, but KG told her that this was really something they “needed” to do together and suggested she go and that maybe they could spend some “quality time” together and see what happens… Maybe they could have a romantic weekend together, see how it works out…
So Camille says she’ll do it.
We see Camille with some friends at her home talking about what she’ll wear to the Tony’s. They’re drinking wine and all toast to Kelsey Grammer and wish him luck in winning that Tony Award. DD is, apparently, the only one in the room who knew what was happening between Camille and Kelsey at this point. They ask if Kelsey will be moving back to LA now and she tells them he might want to stay in New York longer.
We hear Camille say that she’s lost weight and hasn’t been feeling well – stomach problems, stress. And she’s worried about wearing that “gorgeous” red dress and carrying around that long train all night. Such a burden. They agree to hold off on planning the welcome home party.
Next week on the season finale of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” Taylor Armstrong has a birthday party and Kyle Richards explodes at sister Kim.
And it’s the end of Camille’s marriage. Watch previews posted to the left of this article.
