About Surf Dog Ricochet
Ricochet was slated to be a service dog for a person with a disability, but, due to her interest in chasing prey, she had to be released from that role. She went from service dog to SURFice dog, and is now raising funds and awareness for human and animal causes. She has raised over $61,000 this past year, and continues to inspire people all over the world with her positive energy, and charitable, paw it forwawrd lifestyle. She has an inspirational video on YouTube that went viral “From Service dog to SURFice dog” and has almost 3 million views. Most people are brought to tears as it touches them on many different levels. For more information, visit: her Surf Dog Webpage or on Surf Dog Facebook Page.
Surf Dog Ricochet’s owner is also quite amazing. Judy has been afflicted with arthritis, yet if you ask her to do something for some one she has her girls, her other dog Rina, much older than Ricochet is always on the scene with her too, loaded up and ready to extend a helping hand and her dog’s helping paws.
Her main focus in life for herself, others and her dogs, is to focus on what you CAN do and leave what you can’t far behind. Surf Dog Ricochet and Judy has been the inspiration for many to move forward through body and mind. Ricochet and her surfing lifestyle has encouraged many others with dogs to get out and get active, making a difference for others too.
