Songs for a Valentines Day and Anti Valentines Day Playlist

by glow bass

It’s that time of year again where love is everywhere or at least heart shaped items and items to buy for that special person are everywhere. But while gifts and cards are nice at Valentine’s Day it wouldn’t be the same without a little music to set the mood or to serenade that special sweetheart/someone with. What a love song is can vary from person to person but below are just a few personal favorites. A few of the more obscure ones or that people may be less familiar with have links to listen to them. Just click on the highlighted song title to hear the song. There are some wonderful older songs that never lose their beauty and power and newer songs that are a mix of both the traditional and the fun.

Also included for those who aren’t quite feeling the love there is the “Anti-Valentines Day playlist.” There is something for everyone’s moods be it lonely and looking; brokenhearted or moving on; happily single or just fed up with all things Valentines Day too. Please feel free to leave your own personal favorites for both in the comments section also since these are just some personal favorites. But regardless of what everyone’s status is this February 14 and whether tomorrow will be a day of love or just another day hope there’s something on the list to make the day a little sweeter and more enjoyable.
