God has truly blessed me to be surrounded by a great group of inspiring and resourceful networks. Professionally, I try to use that network to help others grow; which has been an awesome testament to the work that God has called us to do. There are those who have begun ministries, founded both non and for profit companies, and others who reach out to consult and connect individuals and families with needed resources and information. Being surrounded by such a group has caused me to look even further within myself to pull out some of those dreams and desires that I wanted to accomplish and start, but was for so long afraid to begin.
If I remember correctly, I heard a Preacher once say, “the graveyard is filled with dreams, hopes, and aspirations, which died because of fear.” Needless to say, my life was changed after that moment but it all made sense. I recalled a time in my life where I used to just think, “there has to be more to my life than what I’ve been living!” It seemed so easy for others to look at me and see things that I didn’t see, but I had to wake up and realize that by seeing myself any other way than how God saw me, was sinful. God calls us, “the head and not the tail; above and not beneath; the lender, not the borrower.” How could I have degraded my own self to negative thoughts, when my Father has called me His child?
A wonderful friend who is very close to my heart once said, “it’s hard to see the picture, when you’re inside the frame.” Well dear readers, I want to challenge you today to step outside the frame! Loose any feelings of self-doubt and fear. Stop listening to people who keep telling you that you can’t make it. So you may say, “but LouMecia, that person is one of my friends.” Well, I say to you that it may be time for an evaluation of your inner circle. Anytime that you make the decision to move forward into a new realm of positive thinking and victorious living, you must surround yourself with people who are not just doing the same, but who have also achieved where you are trying to go.
To help you get there, I want to spotlight another awesome ministry here in Durham that will equip you with God’s Word and the tools needed to help you live the way God has ordained for you to live and prosper. Check out Bethe’l Life Family Worship Center, where the Senior Pastor is Bishop George G. Bloomer.
