CONTEST – Win $25.00 Gift Card from Target – Ends March 1, 2011
Here’s the deal, friends! Kraftykid is having a Superhero Contest. Win a 25.00 gift card from Target for the most original Superhero and have your design featured on our online gallery. Here are some ideas to get your started, but we bet you can come up with some great ideas of your own. Do you have a favorite animal or shape? You can look for a picture and use it to create your own emblem to put on your cape. Tye-dye or bright colors are good choices too.
Costumes are often colorful so that they look cool and fun and are made to match the superhero’s name and theme. For example, Batman’s costume looks like a large bat and Spider-Man’s looks like a big, oversized spider web pattern. Start by filling out Kraftykid’s Superhero Identity form. It will help you decide on things like your name, your special strengths and powers, your sidekick’s name and more. Creating your own, unique cape will be a great start too. Make it super easy and order one of Kraftykid’s Superhero Craft kits. It has everything you need to make your own Superhero cape.
Kraftykid’s Superhero emblem template will assist you in creating your own emblem or crest that you can use to decorate your superhero outfit.
If the superhero has a secret identity they often wear a mask of some sort so that they can’t be recognized. Use Kraftykid’s superhero mask template and color to create a matching mask for your new superhero identity. Try decorating with glitter and feathers for starters. But you can look for other ways to decorate the mask too, like tissue paper, paint, pictures from magazines – you name it!
If you are looking to accessorize, try Kraftykid’s superhero cuff bands. We have several cuff bands to download and make using our free templates, but you might have some ideas of your own.
Here are some Kraftykid ideas, templates, and printables to help get you started!
