For the second year, Pennsylvania-based dessert company Sweet Street Desserts will make Miami Beach’s famous beaches and streets that much sweeter during the 2011 Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival, February 24-27.
The highly anticipated annual festival which attracts foodies and wine connoisseurs from around the world will get a soul-satisfying experience as attendees sample Sweet Street’s luscious dessert line in Miami Beach. Sweet Street Desserts has become the world-renowned food service gourmet dessert leader, served in the finest restaurants and cafés worldwide. The familiar taste of these desserts, served at Barnes & Noble, among other top national chains, is now available directly to consumers. During the festival, Sweet Street will offer a diverse sampling of its desserts at two sold-out events on Friday, February 25: Perrier-Jouët BubbleQ, presented byAllen Brothers and hosted by Bobby Flay and Friends, held beachside at the Delano, 1685 Collins Ave.; and Sobe’s 10th Year Anniversary Party “Let Them Eat Cake,” presented by Moët Hennessy USA and hosted by Emeril Lagasse along with Martha Stewart at 1111 Lincoln Rd. Spreading even more lusciousness through the streets of Miami, Sweet Street Desserts’ customized “Sweet Ride” will be riding through select areas, offering passersby a chance to sample some of the brand’s most popular creations, including 10 richly flavored dessert mousses, an assortment of gourmet cupcakes and irresistible dessert bars.
Coinciding with the opening of the celebrated culinary event on Thursday, February 24, the gourmet dessert company will donate 15 percent of its online sales to the festival’s beneficiary, Florida International University (FIU).
