Rain and clouds were on the weather forecast when the boats were dropped in at the ramp.

Gerald Swindle ‘G-man’ Warrior, AL has a three and a half pound lead at 55-5 pounds over Bobby Lane Lakeland, FLA rising to the number two position with 51-13 bag. Yes ladies and gentlemen the battle of the ounces is on. Trevor Fitzgerald Ocklawaha, FLA lost his number two pole position and dropped to third place with a day two total of 20-5 and a total of 50-4.
Roland Martin Naples, FLA fell from 8th place to number 18 with only 91/2 pounds roughly half of day one’s bag.
Dave Hite Ninety Six, SC falls from 21st place to number 68 bringing in 5-5 bag for the day.
Terry Scroggins Palatka, FLA bagged 16-1 for the day taking him from his third place position to number 7.
Oldest angler Billy Graham 84 and the youngest Dustin Bozeman Lakeland, FLA is riding as a co-angler at 16 years of age. There are no woman participating in the Southern Open this year.
Fishing fans are invited to daily launches and weigh-ins, located at Big Toho Marina, 101 Lakeshore Dr. in Kissimmee. Launch begins at 7 a.m. ET, and weigh-ins begins at 3 p.m. ET, at Bass Pro Shops Orlando, located at 5156 International Drive in Orlando. All events are free and open to the public.
