Brooke finds herself in a real dilemma as she attempts to advise Hope as to how drastically Amber could change her relationship with Liam. Brooke tells her daughter if Amber ends up sharing custody of this baby with Liam, Amber will have a say in every aspect of Liam’s Life. Brooke knows for sure nothing will ever be the same for this couple and she urges her daughter to take a step back for now. Hope is devastated that her mother believes she should break up with Liam. Brooke simply tells her wherever Amber is, misery is there as well. This was all said at Bill and Katie’s beach house in the presence of Hope, Liam, Bill and Katie. Brooke felt strongly enough to share her advice to her daughter with an audience. Liam is horrified because all he wants is to find a way to make things right for Hope.
Brooke, Katie and Bill take a walk outside leaving Hope and Liam alone to discuss their situation. Bill reacts to Brooke’s advice and cannot believe she advised Hope to take a step back. Bill is unwilling to allow Amber to win. Hope says what’s done is done and points out they cannot change anything. Bill continues to assert that Amber will not get the best of him. He tells Brooke that nobody treats his kid this way. Katie and Brooke call to Bill who is storming off. They get no reaction from him as he hops in a car and speeds off. Katie tells Brooke they both know where Bill is going.
Tawny enters the trailer with today’s mail in her hands. She excitedly tells Amber they did a phenomenal thing as she casually tosses bills from debt collectors aside. Amber doesn’t think rigging a paternity test is anything to brag about. Tawny turns the tables and begins telling her daughter she did a wonderful thing by giving her child the chance to live a wonderful life. She then begins to rant about her grand baby and Amber leaves the couch to create some distance.
Amber tries to explain to her gold digging mother that they are scamming one ruthless guy. She tells her mother if Bill ever discovers the child she is carrying belongs to Oliver and not Liam, he will be coming after both of them. Amber shakes up Tawny by pointing out the fact that Bill is capable of anything. They could disappear forever if they don’t play their cards right. Amber suggests Tawny move away for now. Tawny claims the trailer is hers, but she’s nervous enough after Amber’s speech to high tail it out of that trailer park.
Amber wants Liam to take care of his baby. Liam says he has months to figure out how to do that. For now, he just wants to figure out a way to hold on to Hope. Apparently, Brooke’s advice fell on deaf ears. Brooke chats with Katie outside and Katie takes a call from Nick who’s walking the beach in Malibu. He tells Katie a friend of his is selling a house there and he wants her and Bill to see it before it goes on the market. Katie leaves Brooke alone to go see the house.
Bill arrives at Amber’s trailer and wants to know what it will take to solve this problem. Amber tells him in time he will get used to the idea of her pregnancy. She tells him she does not expect Liam to be with her and she’s fine about the fact that Liam is with Hope. Bill continues to try to reach Amber telling her he wants this matter resolved and he wants it done discreetly. He also wants it taken care of today. Amber refuses to take the bait. She tells Bill whatever he’s offering, she’s not interested. She claims he cannot make decisions about a child who belongs to her and Liam. She wonders if Liam even knows he is with Amber trying to negotiate a deal. He tells her if she thinks living in a trailer park is hell, she hasn’t seen anything yet. Bill tells Amber this won’t end the way she wants it too and he cautions her about ‘screwing’ with him.
Amber barely flinches. You’ve got to five her credit for going against the mighty Mr. Spencer. It’s a good thing Tawny got herself booted out because that conversation would have been a nightmare with her in it. Bill ends up walking out and I don’t even want to think about his ride home. I’m just about certain he had no hand sanitizer with him on this particular visit to the trailer park.
