The House of Style by Monique ended 2010 with a show stopping Fall/Winter Fashion show The Rebirth of a Fashion Stylist which featured fashion styles to fit the needs of both men and women. The fashion show was held at White Diamond Image Consulting in Atlanta, Georgia and featured upscale fashions that included Casual Wear, Sports Wear and Evening Wear.
From faux fur to shimmering metallic, each scene was filled with tantalizing pieces that exuded style, flair and confidence. All of the styles for the fashion show were hand selected by the creator of the show Monique Winley who is a Fashion Stylist in Atlanta. The fashion show also created a unique niche for itself by providing fashion styles for the specialty market Petites and Full-figured woman.
In the real world, the average size woman is about a size 12 or 14. Many fashion shows only feature fashions items to fit women who are size 10 or smaller. Winley has a great talent and a keen eye to identify who her client is regardless of their height or size and provide upscale fashions to suit every need.
When asked where she shopped for her pieces, Winley stated she shops at various vintage stores for her fashion items. She does not have any one particular designer that she uses. She simply buys what grabs her attention and turn it into high fashion.
In addition to viewing the new Fall/Winter fashions, guests were treated to entertainment by songstress Nita Nocole and fabulous door prizes that included beauty and grooming treatments and special photo sessions.
One of the sponsors for the fashion show was White Diamond Image Consulting. White Diamond Image Consulting is owned and operated by Daneill Watson and Cherise Beasley and features a full scale image consulting service that includes hair, makeup, photography, personal shopping, workshops and seminars.
When speaking with Watson about the show, he stated it was a pleasure working with Monique and supporting her in this event. Each year he and his partner Cherise select three or four non-profit organizations in the community to work with and give support in the awareness of fashion, breast cancer and domestic violence. This is their way of giving back to the community and bringing awareness to the needs of women.
