It was an international affair for The Woodlands Market Center shop, Touche’, as it hosted its official grand opening at its Houston location on February 12, 2011. With special appearances from the President of Touche’ along with the Consul General of the Republic of Colombia, Touche’ delivered a dazzling presentation of what is in store for Houston residents in the realm of swimwear and lingerie’ fashion.
Representative of Touche’ and fashion enthusiast, Juan Carlos Meija, was unable to contain his excitement when speaking to The Examiner about the new collection of swimwear and lingerie coming to the Houston Touche’ store mid-Spring. As if the Swarovski beaded bras and vibrant splashes of turquoise and coral swimsuits weren’t enough, Mejia promises that Touche’s upcoming collection will be the best for swimwear and lingerie’ yet.
Sketches, specs and lookbooks were available for the upcoming collection at the grand opening event and the pieces were nothing short of breathtaking.
For the Houston woman who is looking to add luxury, style and sex appeal to her sleepwear or vacation ensembles, Touche’ should be the first stop on her list. With swimsuits that looked to be fresh off the runway to the most amazing assortment of cover-ups and beach accessories; it’s everything a trendsetter needs to make a fashion statement on either the beach or at the pool.
At first glance, one may shudder at the thought of wearing such beautiful pieces of swimwear in the water. Sales executive for Touche’, Annie Rangel, addresses this concern and advises that Touche’s swimsuits are made from the highest quality of fabrics and if properly taken care of, will outlast your average swimsuit by many years.
The popularity of this once “Mom and Pop” shop has grown immensely and now boasts 30 locations in Colombia alone. With the Houston store opening as its second U.S. location, Touche’ is on the fast-track to achieving worldwide success for its brand. In addition to its recent store openings and exploration of other growth opportunities, Touche’ is also busy traveling the world displaying its fashions in the top runway shows. Hopefully, Houston Fashion Week will become one of the next stops on Touche’s long list of to-do’s in the future.
