The show featured brides that shared their fantasy about wearing a Vera Wang designed wedding gown – the Cadillac of wedding dresses. Oprah asked all brides to be to stand up while saying that she understand that they have not found their wedding dresses as yet and then announced that “Miss Vera Wang is coming to your rescue!”
Budget-conscious brides have long dreamed of wearing an “I do” dress from designer Vera Wang, and on February 11, 2011 dreams became reality as the White by Vera Wang Spring 2011 collection debuted at stores throughout the Chicago land area.
Consisting of 12 ceremony styles in shades from traditional white and ivory to refined blush and champagne, brides have a variety of silhouette selections from which to choose, from fairy tale ballgowns to modern fit-and-flare frocks in sizes 0 – 14. Each wedding dress in the collection, which also includes bridesmaid dresses, headpieces and veils, is priced between $600 and $1,400.
