Among the big names scheduled to compete at the February 18-20 in Texas: Katelyn Ohashi, Alyssa Baumann, Ivana Hong, Briley Casanova, Sophia Lee, Lizzy LeDuc, Madison Kocian, Grace McLaughlin and McKenzie Wofford.
And that’s just for the host team. Canada, France and Mexico have all entered top Olympic prospects as well.
WOGA favorite Rebecca Bross, the reigning national champion, is recovering from a stress fracture in her ankle and will not compete.
Russia, which usually sends talented hopefuls to soak up the experience in Texas, has entered Anastasiya Marchuk and Irina Yashina, though the word from WOGA is that different Russian gymnasts may show up.
